Create Memories Through Portrait Photography with Toja Riley in Baton Rouge

For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of building a career in the pharmaceutical industry, helping bring impactful medications to patients who truly need them. Throughout that journey, I’ve played a role in the marketing and sales of globally recognized brands such as Zyrtec, Gemtesa, Astelin Nasal Spray, and Voltaren Gel. More importantly, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some incredibly talented people in healthcare who share a common goal: improving lives. Knowing that the work we do can make a real difference for patients and families has always been the most rewarding part of my career.

Outside of work, photography has become one of my greatest passions. What started as simply capturing moments eventually turned into something much deeper while photographing my kids’ travel sports teams. Picking up a DSLR camera changed the way I saw the world. I became fascinated by the ability to freeze emotion, energy, personality, and connection in a single frame.

Over the years, in the greater Baton Rouge area I’ve photographed everything from sports and architecture to events and families, but portrait and headshot photography is where I feel most at home. I love the one-on-one experience of getting to know someone, understanding their story, and creating images that reflect who they truly are. To me, a great portrait is more than just a photo — it’s a reflection of personality, confidence, and authenticity.

At the end of the day, whether through healthcare or photography, my passion has always been about people, connection, and creating meaningful impact.
